Responsibilities: MTV Digital (mtv.ca & mtv2.ca) is looking for an experienced Web designer with knowledge of the MTV brand, a fresh design approach, experience in offline forms of art and a portfolio of Web design that extends well beyond the traditional Web site. Our candidate will lead and define creative on MTV across all online and mobile prosperities, liaise on cross-platform executions with the broadcast creative team and contribute new ideas in site enhancements beyond design. You will be expected to manage multiple tasks, deliver under tight deadlines, communicate progress on all your projects on a regular basis and attend brainstorming sessions where your input will be valued and expected. Duties will include but not be limited to: · Lead designer for MTV.ca, MTV2.ca, MTV Mobile, MTVVMA.ca, MTVEMA.ca, co-branded microsites, banner advertising, contests & Social Media Track and communicate project progress · Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Advanced experience with the Adobe Suite of products Intermediate or above experience with motion graphics and video production (Flash, After Effects) Intermediate or above knowledge with Flash Action Script, HTML, CSS preferred Candidates with strong copywriting and photography will be highly valued Arts College or University graduate with minimum 2 years experience in online design Well organized with good communication skills, patience and an ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities;
