Position:	Traffic Director

Location:	CHUM Radio Kingston, ON 98.3 Fly fm / 98.9 The Drive
Salary:	Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work:	40 hours per week - Occasional evenings and weekends may be required to meet project deadlines
Responsibilities:	Input broadcast orders, confirmation reports, and filing Create, accept, export, and print daily logs for both radio stations Assist in monthly invoicing (month-end), copy co-op and numbering carts Run audit reports and reconcile commercial logs daily Book and confirm national/regional orders, specialty programming &/or features  Fill-out affidavits, co-op info, auction/contra materials as required Make-good all N/A commercials as necessary and follow-up with sales Reports: sales projections and other sales reports, expiring orders, etc. Throughout the day you will also perform some reception-type duties including answering/directing phones calls, greet/receive and direct listeners/guests/clients, open/distribute/send mail, send/receive/sort distribute faxes and memos, maintain public service file, type general correspondence/newsletters    Various reports/duties for sales events and attend sales meetings as required Position reports to the Business Administrator
Qualifications:	Minimum of a 2-year radio broadcast diploma and 1 year related experience.  (Preferred, but not required) Self-motivated, excellent organizational and communication skills as well as able to take direction Able to meet deadlines and demonstrate attention to detail, with excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) Experience with CBSI/Wicks or other traffic systems would be an asset
