| Position: | Travel and Logistics Coordinator –Canada’s Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium - Vancouver 2010 Olympics Winter Games (11 month contract) | ||

| Responsibilities: | In a professional manner and adhering to strict deadlines, perform the following activities: · Assist with the planning and execution of the logistic components during lead-up and 2010 Vancouver Olympic games-time · Assist with tracking the accreditation information of all Consortium employees · Maintain schedules and transportation spreadsheets (both air and ground) according to the requirements of Consortium employees during lead-up and 2010 Vancouver Olympic games-time. · Maintain schedules and accommodation spreadsheets during lead-up and 2010 Vancouver Olympic games-time. · Coordinate all flight bookings, hotel arrangements and vehicle rentals throughout Canada and the U.S. in a timely manner. | ||
| Qualifications: | · A minimum of 2 years travel industry related experience. · Knowledge of logistics planning for a multi-day event incorporating the needs of a large contingent of employees · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to work proactively and independently in a demanding and time sensitive environment. · High degree of accuracy. · Strong organizational skills. · Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills. · Work experience at an Olympic games an asset · Full knowledge of travel booking and cost tracking procedures · Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook etc. · Ability to travel | ||
