Salary: Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Hours of Work: Generally 40 hours per week, however, PD’s are on call 24/7

Responsibilities: CHUM Radio has a very exciting opportunity for a Program Director. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for: · programming, research and achieving station ratings targets · ensure the strategic goals are being addressed throughout the station · developing and managing programming and on-air staff · manage the budget as well as spearheading creative of all radio station promotions and contests. · ensure station compliance with CRTC Regulations and policies as applicable to the Programming Department.

Qualifications: · Minimum of 3 years experience in a role directly related to programming. · Proven track record of success in reaching targeted demo’s · Ability to create compelling content Strong communicator with excellent people skills. ·Strong leadership and team building skills. Knowledge and experience with the CHR format, music, research, air talent, budgets and marketing are essential · Passion, creativity and a desire to be the best. · Knowledge of the Edmonton market is a definite asset.
