| Position: | VTR Operator – Part Time | ||
| Location: | CTV Winnipeg | ||
| Salary: | CEP Local 816M, Group VI. Commensurate with experience and qualifications. | ||
| Hours of Work: | Shift work – Primarily evenings and weekends. | ||
| Responsibilities: | · Record, ingest and playback from various sources with VTR and non-linear equipment · Prepare commercials, promos and programs for internal and external use · Record, playback and monitor quality of studio, satellite and fiber feeds · Operate Leitch news server system and associated programs · Library duties, shipping, receiving, labeling · Check and verify on-air content from Medialogger system · Become proficient in new programs and systems as they become available · Must be available to work all shifts · Other duties as assigned | ||
| Qualifications: | · Minimum of one year’s experience in television broadcasting, with direct VTR and video server system experience · Technical diploma or post-secondary broadcast certificate an asset · Previous experience using a variety of video/audio computer based broadcast systems · Experience in studio, audio, editing and/or graphics systems an asset · Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team · Strong communication skills · Ability and interest in learning new programs and systems as technology changes | ||
