Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.
Responsibilities: Research, write and field produce items Supervise crews, oversee shooting and editing Working with reporters ·Interviewing and scripting Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Minimum 5 years investigative journalism experience required Broadcast or Journalism degree or equivalent Experience producing long form current affairs programs Experience in news writing, reporting and editing for TV news Excellent knowledge of news and current affairs Experience generating story ideas Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to both work well in a team and be self-motivated Ability to travel on short notice Computer word processing and Internet kills Experience with spread sheets and database organization of research material while not specifically required is considered an asset Bilingual (French) or other languages an asset
