Hours of Work:	40 hours per week. Overtime as required.
Responsibilities:	Reporting to the Manager, Operations, this multi-skilled and motivated individual will be responsible for: · Switching Live & taped programming to air, Operation of VTR’s, preparing and playback Leitch file server. Operation and Programming of Harris automation · Caching commercials to Video File Servers, dubbing commercials · Recording programs, Editing playlists, comparing logs to Harris data base · Controlling incoming and outgoing feeds (microwave, satellite) · Monitoring the quality and integrity of incoming and on air signals · Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:	· Team player, who has the ability to see “the big picture” and possesses problem solving skills and the ability to professionally handle all that is involved with a centralized Television Master Control environment. · Minimum 5 years experience in a Broadcast Master Control environment · Post-secondary education in Broadcasting · Experience and knowledge of Harris automation, Bosch master control switcher, GV video servers, Leitch video file server, Beta SP and Beta SX · Knowledge of NTSC in Analog and digital signals · Knowledge of technical specifications, waveform and vector scopes · Excellent concentration, communications, coordination and computer skills · MUST be able to foresee potential problems, work under pressure and have demonstrated the ability to react quickly and productively in a changing environment requiring immediate decision-making. · MUST have ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment with emphasis on internal assistance, while motivating staff and upholding professional standards.
