Salary:	Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Hours of Work:	40 hours per week. Overtime as required.
Responsibilities:	Responsible for the day to day management the CTV British Columbia Engineering, Building Maintenance and Transmitter Departments, including project planning, trouble shooting, maintenance and repair of all CTV British Columbia facilities and field operations. Position reports to Vice President and General Manager, CTV British Columbia and will liaise with CTV Engineering and Operations head office. Responsible for performance management of all Engineering staff Responsible for: budgeting, tracking expenditures, training, equipping, guiding, deploying and evaluating the Engineering and Technical Support staff Development and implementation of preventative maintenance routines to enhance equipment reliability, performance and longevity Liaise with equipment suppliers and their manufacturers to provide best value and performance of supplied products Assist with the co-ordination, planning and purchasing of CTV British Columbia’s capital requirements
Qualifications:	Post Secondary education, specializing in Electrical Engineering or Broadcast Technology At least 10 years of applied experience in the Broadcasting Industry: fibre, satellite distribution, maintenance of broadcast technical equipment, transmitters, and new digital broadcast technology. Must have project management skills, supervisory experience and strong communication skills. Must be well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments Must have an overall understanding of the live program production process and a strong sense of urgency in solving technical requests to meet broadcast requirements
