Position:	Writer News (CEP Local 87-M) – 1 Casual Part-Time Position ending August 31, 2009.

Salary:	CEP 87-M Wage Group 5 Min. $15.86 to Max. $23.38
Hours of Work:	Hours will vary. Days, Evenings, & Weekends. Overtime as required.
Responsibilities:	Gathers information, writes and rewrites news stories as required. Print scripts and operate teleprompter Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:	Graduate of a recognized college or university journalism program or equivalent in experience. Strong news sense backed by good writing skills. Must have demonstrated aptitude for working with computers and technical equipment. Demonstrated ability to organize material, meet deadlines and work accurately. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
