Position: Group Director, National Sales – CTV Inc.

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.

Responsibilities: Group Director plays a crucial role in two vitally important areas – Growing Revenue and Managing People. Growing Revenue involves: Thorough knowledge of complex, multi-station, stratified (national/regional/local) television sales. · Developing and executing account strategies for long term development and growth. Providing timely and accurate communication to Vice President Conventional Sales of all relevant information regarding revenue and/or client relationships. · Take the strategic lead to prioritize and ensure proper account management both internally and externally. Working with other key internal departments across all platforms to grow revenue share. ·Effectively communicating sales objectives and strategies, both within the team and to other key functional areas at CTV Managing People includes: Customer relationship building and management; analysis and planning both at the agency and advertiser level. · Training and coaching are also an essential component of this role. Ongoing coaching and mentoring all Account Executives and Sales Coordinators. Managing administrative aspects of the sales process and team.

Qualifications: Passion for the new dynamics of the Canadian Television landscape, in addition to having strong relationships with key agency/client personnel. · Demonstrate an ability to think creatively, sell strategically, manage successfully and communicate effectively both internally and externally. ·Possess a strong desire to win and an engaging leadership style that values teamwork and development. · Bachelor degree (or equivalent) from recognized post secondary institution · Minimum of eight (8) years senior sales and/or management experience. · Proven track record of success and leadership · Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills · Account management, ideally in Large Account Management (LAM) or Key Account Planning · Ability to spot and develop areas of new opportunity in the marketplace · Good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research · Excellent presentation skills · Problem solving and decision making · Team-building · Leadership and motivational skills
