Position: Account Executive

CHUM Radio Winnipeg (division of CTV Ltd.) has an opening for an experienced Account Executive with a proven successful track record. This person must have an extraordinary drive to succeed and fantastic communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Identify businesses that can benefit from advertising to the listeners of CHUM Radio Winnipeg
Contact and interview key business leaders to identify the benefits and advantages of their products, services or ideas
Coordinate with Creative and Production departments to convert business benefits and advantages into long term strategic marketing campaign
Collaborate with sales team in continuous improvement
Focus on research to stay current with client industries and developments
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
· Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing and Sales or in a related area of study, or equivalent work experience
· Proven ability to be a successful Account Executive
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Thrive on the demands of a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
· Confidence to create and grow client relationships
· Ability to make cold calls to grow business
· Self motivated and driven for continuous improvement
· Strong problem solving and creative thinking abilities
· An understanding of software and technology, with working knowledge of MS Office and PowerPoint
