TSN - Creative Director (Toronto)

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the team of writer/producers and directors responsible for all on-air promotional creative for TSN, TSN2, TSN.ca, TSN Mobile, NHL Network, ESPN Classic
• Manage the production process for television advertising, including creative development, facilities scheduling, production time-lines, staff work schedules and booking freelance talent
• Play a leadership role in creative development within a larger cross-functional TSN Marketing team
• Provide creative and promotional support where necessary to TSN Sales to help drive revenue
• Manage all production budgets.
• Liaise with Operations on technical, staffing and facilities requirements.
• Manage all licensing agreements, stock footage, stock music, original music for the entire TSN production group.
• Liaise with outside production suppliers.
• Liaise with talent agents for on-camera and voice talent. Manage all talent contracts and payments.
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7- 10 years experience in broadcast promotion or advertising
Experience managing a team including direct reports, budget responsibility and Senior Management reporting understands how to work with and manage creative people
Working knowledge of the broadcast industry
Strategic thinker with experience working in integrated marketing environments
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Ability to work within a budget and deliver material on time.
Experience in dealing with complex licensing, unions and legal agreements
A team player who is open to feedback and revisions
