Hours of Work: Hours will vary. Days, Evenings, & Weekends.

Responsibilities: 1023 BOB-FM plays the BEST music from the “80’s… 90’s… & MORE WHATEVER than ever before!” We play everything from Aerosmith to Foreigner, Oasis to U2, Bon Jovi to Journey, Nickelback to The Cars and everything in between! We are updating our files for PT Weekend/Casual announcer opportunities. Your responsibilities will include: • Hosting BOB Weekend shows (6a-12noon or 12noon-6pm)
• Gather and execute content on-air • Fill other BOB shows, as backup, when required • Voice commercial and other production, when required
• Hosting station/community events on behalf of BOB, when required • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: • Broadcast or exceptional College experience
• Great interpersonal skills and excellent sense of humour
• Passion and commitment to succeed in broadcasting • On-air presentation and the ability to relate to the BOB 25-54 (50/50% male/female) audience
• Must enjoy participating in remotes and on location appearances • Perform well in both a team environment and on an individual basis
• Exceptional attitude and able to positively represent BOB in all situations • Previous experience Scott system (or equivalent) preferred
• Experience gathering and reading news headlines desirable (but not mandatory) • A valid G Class license and excellent driving record is required
