Position: On Air Announcer – 8 month contract

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.
Responsibilities:
Country 105 & Energy 99.7 Peterborough is looking for an announcer to join our team to cover an upcoming maternity leave. We are looking for someone who is versatile and can work on both Hot AC, and Country formats. Hosting live and voice tracked shifts on Country 105 & Energy 99.7 Being available to represent the stations at public events. · Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years successful, professional radio on-air experience. ·Possess a thorough understanding of how to prep a show for target audiences. ·Demonstrated ability to multi-task and a strong attention to detail. ·Proficient in Microsoft office package. ·A working knowledge of Scott Automation System would be a strong asset. ·A valid driver’s licence (Ontario) with a clean driving record. ·Must be motivated, team player, who has excellent organizational and communication skills.
