| Responsibilities: | Under the direction of the Program Director, the Morning On Air Announcer will: · Host the Morning Show M-F 5.30am-11.00am with the News Announcer/Co-Host on 91-9 BOB-FM. · Voice Track as required for BOB-FM and other CHUM Kawarthas stations. · Voice commercials on a daily basis. · Represent the station by making regular public appearances in the community. · Assist in the music department. · Assist in the promotions department. · Other duties as assigned. | ||
| Qualifications: | ·A minimum of 2 years successful, professional radio on-air experience. ·A minimum of 1 year music scheduling preferred. ·Possess a thorough understanding of how to prep a show for target audiences. ·Demonstrated ability to multi-task and a strong attention to detail. ·Proficient in Microsoft office package. ·A working knowledge of Cool Edit, MusicMaster, and Scott Automation System would be a strong asset. ·A valid driver’s licence (Ontario) with a clean driving record. ·Must be motivated, team player, who has excellent organizational and communication skills. | ||
