Hours of Work: | 37.5 hours per week. | ||
Responsibilities: | · To prepare and handle various on-air shifts, particularly on weekend, within established Company standards of performance, guidelines and formats for a demo of 18 to 34 year olds. · To implement pre-determined programming elements and strategy (e.g. sourcing interactive online “FUN” material for daily posting). · To develop and engage listener’s loyalty and make them “feel good”.. · To perform at live remotes, make public appearances or perform station promotional work in accordance with Company standards. · Produce/create on line multi media conten · Utilize social networks to communicate and promote radio content · To apply appropriate CRTC Regulations as to on-air shifts. · Related duties as assigned (e.g. voicing commercials, voice tracking). | ||
Qualifications: | · Post-secondary education or equivalency in Broadcasting. · Excellent verbal communication skills. · Ability to deliver a hip, fun, interactive and tight CHR sound. · Excellent knowledge of CHR music. · Ability to work under pressure, handle associated stress and react quickly and accurately to daily deadlines within a collaborative atmosphere. · Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. · Proficient use of VoxPro and Adobe Audition. · Understanding of RCS Selector and Master Control. · Demonstrated creativity as evidenced by demo CD or portfolio. | ||
