Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.

Responsibilities: CHUM Radio Brockville has an exciting opportunity, as we are looking for our next P.M. Drive Announcer/Music Director for 104.9 JRfm/103.7 BOB-FM. This is an opportunity to work and grow within one of Canada's most respected industry leading broadcast companies, CHUM Radio. The successful candidate will be the P.M. Drive Announcer for 104.9JRfm or 103.7 BOB.FM, & the Music Director for the Brockville division & become responsible for the day to day music scheduling duties for 104.9JRfm & 103.7 BOB-FM. · Help set music strategy utilizing all available resources & keep our stations focused. · Maintain our company and station policies and procedures. Help optimize music scheduling systems: adding music, scheduling and data-base maintenance etc. Take a leadership role on and off-air in the community and make promotional/service appearances. · Maintain the filing of all related materials. Liaison with record companies. Voice commercial’s on a daily basis · Fill-in other announcer shifts from time to time, live or voice-tracked.

Qualifications: ·The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of successful, professional radio on-air experience and possess a thorough understanding of music programming. ·Possess a thorough understanding of how to prep a show for target audiences. ·Demonstrated ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and a strong attention to detail. ·Proficient in Microsoft office package. ·A working knowledge of Scott Automation System & RCS–Selector would be a strong asset. ·A valid driver’s licence (Ontario) with a clean driving record. ·Must be motivated, team player, who has excellent organizational and communication skills.
