Position: Drive Host Personality
Location: 107.3 KOOL FM, Victoria
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.
Responsibilities: Are you someone that people gravitate toward? 107.3 KOOL-FM has the opportunity to be Victoria’s next fantastic drive personality. We are looking for an innovative thinking person who is not afraid to shine their light. We’d like to find someone who wants to make every break count and then continue to engage listeners beyond the airwaves through other platforms. The ideal candidate will – ·host the drive shift 3pm - 7pm · have excellent phone editing and caller execution skills · further engage the listener through station blogs and other social networking sites ·be able to cover mornings with composure and confidence · voice track radio and television countdowns as required, ·host remote broadcasts as required · regular promotional appearances · be a pro-active member of the team and keep up on local and community events · voice commercials
Qualifications: ·minimum of two years on-air experience in a small to medium market a passion for the top 40 music in its various forms and the ability to relate that to the station’s wide-ranging audience ·strong communication and interpersonal skills · familiarity with Scott Systems, Adobe Audition and VoxPro
