Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required
Responsibilities: 1023 BOB-FM plays the BEST music from the “80’s… 90’s… & MORE WHATEVER than ever before!” We play everything from Aerosmith to Foreigner, Oasis to U2, Bon Jovi to Journey, Nickelback to The Cars and everything in between! Your responsibilities will include: • Prospect, sell, service and maintain client contacts, using a customer-focused sales process to achieve client’s goals • Acquire new direct retail business through cold calling
• Achieve sales targets • Build long-term client loyalty by providing quality customer solutions and outstanding service to new advertising customers • Liaise with and create trusted working relationships with co-workers • Timely administration and follow up on accounts • Other activities in support of station success

Qualifications: • Comfort and capability with high-volume cold calling in a competitive market • Professional with excellent communication and presentation skills • Demonstrated skill in negotiations, setting priorities, decision-making • Demonstrated success in developing new clients • Analytical thinker, competent closer • Self-motivated and results oriented with a positive attitude • Ability to work independently within a team environment
• Ability to adapt to internal processes. • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Successful experience with marketing, advertising and public relations an asset • Valid ‘G’ class driver’s license.
